Low Frequency Pigeon Topography

Concurrent to a magnetic compass sense, it is believed that homing pigeons may also use atmospheric infrasound (<20Hz) to provide navigational (topographical) map sense. Low frequency sounds were recorded from a respective eighteen sites (Northbridge, Perth) of significant pigeon population. These sites were marked.
